This house is the first built in a large 600-acre subdivision, so not only are you right next to the bay and some amazing fishing but you feel as if you are on a large ranch as well! This house is not on the water, but we are directly across the street from a clubhouse and fishing pier and it’s an easy short walk! The subdivision has miles and miles of waterfront allowing you unlimited opportunities to fish from the shore or wade. We also have two kayaks you can use to sight see, have fun or fish. We also have a brand new 6 passenger golf cart that may be rented at an additional charge of $135 per day if you desire. It is a fun way to ride around the subdivision enjoying the breathtaking views and taking in the salt air! It’s also a quick and convenient way to go back and forth to the pool, tennis courts or basketball courts. The whole subdivision has concrete roads and we have two adult bikes and a couple kids bikes for you to use! Our kids love skateboarding, roller skating, and biking up and down the concrete roads. Not only is the house nicely decorated but it has everything you need to relax comfortably and have fun including: fully stocked kitchen, dining room, large island with 6 barstools, living room with two queen pull out couches, laundry room with washer, dryer & freezer. All bedrooms including the living room have nice large wall mounted, smart TVs with access to hi-speed WIFI in order to stream videos via Netflix and amazon prime. The Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a jetted tub as well as a shower in the master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a twin pull out couch as well. The third bedroom also has a queen-sized bed and shares a bathroom with tub/shower combo with bedroom 2. The fishing is excellent, we routinely catch large red fish, flounder, trout and drum. Guests can use any of the 3 subdivision piers as well as fish on the peninsula allowing you to fish either Turtle or Matagorda Bay! I very much enjoy wade fishing and fishing from my kayak though you may bring a boat as there are several boat ramps located nearby or arrange a fishing trip with one of the local fishing guides. If you bring a throw net, you can easily catch mullet for bait or there are several bait places in the town of Palacios located only a few miles from the house. The crabbing is also decent and though we haven’t experienced yet as we recently purchased the house, the flounder run in the fall is supposed to be one of the best in Texas! The town of Palacios is a quiet, quaint, bayside town with several good restaurants, a multitude of public, lighted fishing piers and some shopping as well. It has a Lowe’s grocery store as well as a dollar general and dollar tree should you need anything. HEB gets all their shrimp from this area so there are many places you can buy fresh seafood and large shrimp for low prices. It’s also fun to go down and watch the shrimp boats go out and return from sea. And what small town would be complete without a Sonic for late night ice-cream runs! We like to get our ice-cream and come back and sit around the firepit at night enjoy the view of the stars!

Magnolia Beach Bungalow #1 is simply a small piece of paradise sporting a PRIVATE beach, access road and lighted fishing pier (now rebuilt! ) We have a total of four bungalows for your enjoyment. Three of our bungalows will fit up to four people. They have Queen size beds and the most up - to - date futons which turn into a full size bed. We have a special adult bungalow just for two or the romantic couple that still desire the fishing life, listening to the waves and spending some special time together. We've been round and round about that with VRBO. Absolutely breathtaking sunrises and sunsets are a daily occurrence. Especially, viewing from the hammocks beneath the beach cabana. So, load up your fishing poles and come experience a piece of paradise for yourself. Limited to 4 please. The Bungalows were built and designed with an open area concept. The queen size bed is in the rear with a superior full size futon in front of the 32" TV. The kitchen has a full size fridge (with ice maker), range/stove and sink. A full size microwave is mounted above the stove. The floors have a beautifully stained concrete finish that shines like glass. The bathrooms have hand-tiled showers which are exceptionally clean and refreshing. This is a very historic area with literature in the bungalow detailing its' inception. Wanna go deep sea fishing? We can hook you up with one of our local fishing guides for either 1/2 day or all day! Offshore or Bay fishing - we have both! There is a local boat ramp about 1/2 mile from the Bungalow and you're more than welcome to park your trailer here (plenty of room with 2 acres) and dock at our pier. Kayaking is very popular in the area as well. Magnolia Beach has J&T's convenience store (with the Saltwater Saloon in the rear!! Pool, shuffleboard, games and a jukebox with a live band every now and then just a couple of minutes from the Bungalows. Great burgers, pizza and super cold beer! Everything ya need for a day at the beach! Great place to go cool off, too, after a hot day fishing on the beach! On the other end of the beach, we have the Indianola Fishing Marina... which has a large deck in back to fish on all night if you'd like. Live bait here! Boat ramp there to accommodate the big boats. Good seafood menu, steaks and lots of cold beer! They normally have a live band every weekend. Not many folks know about Magnolia Beach. But, once they have been here, they always return. The Bungalows were completed in 2012 on a prime location and the owner also lives on the property. It's a little bit "higher end" than most beach cabins, but, still costs less than most hotels. There will be a cold six-pack or a bottle of wine waiting on you when you get here... just let us know when you book a bungalow. Compliments of the Bungalows, as are the chips and crackers on the cabinet!!! We have a (20x20) Pergola in back of the Bungalows furnished with aa picnic table/chairs and a BBQ-pit - gas/charcoal (on the way to the beach). Good to go! Magnolia Beach is a quiet little fishing village in the middle of the Texas Gulf Coast. Magnolia Beach is one of the only places left on the Texas Gulf Coast where you can still drive on the beach right up to the bay. The fishing is great! You can fish from the beach in front of the house, go down to the rocks, kayak into Powder Horn Lake from the bay or go down to the marina in Indianola and arrange to fish right off the deck into the channel connecting Lavaca Bay with Matagorda Bay and Powder Horn Lake. According to the City of Port Lavaca; Birding has never been better in Calhoun County. It is a migratory flyway for 400 species of birds, and the area is a wintering ground for numerous species, including the endangered Whooping Crane. Cute, two bedroom house located in the quiet Tidewater Oaks subdivision on the Tres Palacios river. There is a large picnic area, a two car concrete parking area, an elevated deck overlooking the river with steps leading down to a private fishing deck. Inside you will find a full kitchen, a sitting/dining room with a full view of the river, a tv/sitting room, a laundry room with washer/dryer, and two comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed while the other bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. A community boat ramp is very convenient and a public boat ramp and fishing area is nearby. The river is good for fishing, kayaking and smaller motorboats and leads into the Tres Palacios Bay which then leads to the Gulf. Fishing charters are available in Palacios. Nearby cities are Blessing (5 miles), Palacios (13 miles), and Bay City (20 miles). Local beaches are Matagorda Beach (36 miles) and Sargent Beach (50 Miles). The house has central air conditioning and is strictly NO SMOKING.

Recently renovated bay front home few steps from the Magnolia Beach Public Pier.  With over 800 SF of balcony areas and big windows in all rooms, guests are able to enjoy bay views from every room of the house.  Awesome place to change scenery while keeping social distance in a sanitized, comfy and beautifully furnished to provide a comfortable home feel to our guest.  At Sunrise on Mag you will enjoy spectacular views of Sunrises, Sunsets, wildlife and ships passing through.  Feel the breeze from the hammock at the top balcony or on our comfy outdoor sectional on the main deck.     We have very well appointed Kitchen with all the essential cook ware to prepare and enjoy family meals.  Just bring your condiments and groceries and create great memories preparing your meals.  Have fun on the bay but come back to enjoy a comfortable sleep on our Hybrid Plush Mattresses, wrapped on Cotton sheets and soft/warm microfiber blankets.  Rest assured, that every piece of bedding and covers have been washed and sanitized between guests.    We have a 55" Roku TV on the living room and a 42" Roku TV on the Master Room where you can stream your favorite Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ or Prime movies/shows.  Our internet is very fast and reliable.   Know that there is plenty of parking space to bring your boat, gulf carts, kayaks, bikes or other toys.  Please be mindful when booking that there are 14 steps to get to the main balcony and the house has multiple levels  with interior steps between each level. We might not meet personally, but our House Manager lives on property grounds only few steps from the house.  She is friendly, observant of our guests needs, knowledgeable of the area and will always try to assist through guest stay. With beautiful sunrises to look at right from the front porch. There is a boat ramp and several fishing piers right across the street. We have plenty of room for you to trailer park your boat at night, behind our place. It is a studio apartment with a private screened in porch entrance and a private screened-in patio. There is a queen size bed and a full size innerspring futon mattress bed. We have a small kitchen for your use with pretty much all the amenities. There is a two-burner cooktop, crock pot, panini maker, mixers and various cooking items and utensils. The private bathroom has a 60" walk in shower with a Rainfall shower head and 8 massaging jets for your relaxation. Palacios has a beautiful 2 mile long lighted seawall. It is very enjoyable for a romantic stroll and to enjoy the many, many Shorebirds & Pelicans. Its also a perfect run for the the atheltic. You can have a picnic at many of the tables along the the bay. If you have children there are awesome nautical playgrounds to entertain them. It's such an enjoyable experience being in Palacios, Texas. There are also three public boat ramps and numerous lighted jetties and piers for fishing and 2 miles of lighted sidewalk. The historic Luther Hotel is along the seafront.
